Cookie Policy

Effective date: June 28, 2026

This policy describes the cookies and similar storage mechanisms the PTCC platform uses, why we use them, and what choices you have.

1.What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — for example, that you are logged in — so you do not have to re-enter it every time you load a page.

We also use related browser-storage mechanisms (such as localStorage) for lightweight client-side preferences. These are governed by the same principles as cookies.

2.Cookies We Set

PTCC uses a minimal set of cookies, all of which are functional in nature. None of the cookies listed below are used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Cookie nameSet byDuration
__sessionClerkSession
__client_uatClerk1 year
__clerk_db_jwtClerk1 year
ptcc_ui_prefsPTCC90 days

The Clerk authentication cookies are strictly necessary for the Platform to function. They cannot be disabled without logging you out and preventing access to your account. The preference cookie is optional and can be deleted from your browser without affecting access.

3.Third-Party Cookies

Stripe

When you proceed to a checkout flow, Stripe may set cookies in your browser to support fraud detection and maintain payment session state. These cookies are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy and are scoped to the payment flow; they are not used to track your activity across the rest of our Platform.

No analytics providers

We do not currently use Google Analytics, Segment, Mixpanel, or any other third-party analytics service that sets cookies. Aggregate usage data is derived from our own server-side logs without setting cookies in your browser.

4.What We Don't Do

We want to be explicit about the things we do not do with cookies:

  • We do not set advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • We do not share cookie data with social media platforms.
  • We do not use cookies to build a profile of your behaviour across other websites.
  • We do not sell or license cookie data to any third party.

5.Your Controls

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. The links below go to instructions for the most common browsers:

  • Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Note that blocking the Clerk authentication cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the Platform. All other cookies listed above can be removed without affecting your ability to browse the marketing site.

If you have questions about specific cookies or would like us to clarify what a cookie is doing, email privacy@ptcc.io.
